Car Crash

There has just been a car crash right outside of my window.  I am surprised I have not seen one sooner.  It does not look like anyone is hurt. Praise God!!

This is Grandpa Katy, just wanted to let you know how much I appreciate your contribution to the Human Race! and to let you know how proud I am of you. I have a direct line to God and I know my conversations with him are heard, and he will keep you safe. Your Grandma is very proud of you as well, she watches over you too. Just know this,- the next time you notice a soft gentle breeze against your cheek it is more than likely Grandma blowing you a kiss. I'm sure you miss her as much as I do - some days are really bad but when I get on the hot line he gets me through the day.
I read your blog the other day and know what you experienced when you wrote how bright the stars are. That is what you experience when you look up at the heavens @ night aboard ship out at sea. Magnificent!, you get the true view, away from city lights etc. It's awesome and inspiring!!
Have some concerns though about what you wrote - returning to your quarters at night alone. Do me a favor and ask for someone to escort you. I hope you are keeping a journal and writing down all the wonderful experiences you are gaining. You are so young experiencing so much! Write them all down and in your elderly years it will help to relive them.
Well Katygirl, have to go pay our taxes so will log off for this time. Always remember I think of you many times during the day. . . ."let's see now, it's 10 something here - Katy is 7 hours ahead of our time so that would mean she is probably having her evening meal - wonder if she is firing up the skillet and whipping up a 'delicious fried egg' and stepping away smartly?". All for this time. Love you and miss you - looking forward to hearing all about your experiences when you touch terra firma @ Eppley!!!

Love, Grandpa

Grandpa, I am so glad that you have a direct line with God. I have been hoping and praying for that. God answers prayer! I am so glad and happy. I am doing well and am so glad to hear from you! I truly miss Grandma. I know she can see me but it is completely different then seeing her face to face. I wish I could tell her all of my stories. I have so many to share and have about 500 pictures that I have taken! IT is so beautiful here. Yes, grandpa. I will go with someone if I have to walk in the dark. THanks for checking on me. I love you so much and will see you soon.

YOur grandaughter,
Katybeth
